Sharing some random pictures we bring with US home from our recent trip from CAMOTES ISLAND😅 Enjoy 🐒
We took a ferry (OCEAN JET) from Cebu City to CAMOTES Island . The journey took 1 hour and 30 minutes. When you arrived . Motorbikes,Multicab,Jeepney and tricycle driver will welcome you on the port. They offered a one day tour and bring you to your hotel/resort destination. We pay 200 each from the port to our destination (SANTIAGO BAY RESORT) well, Its quite far from the Puro port actually. We hired a tricycle driver to drive us there. We asked him to take Us on a tour the next day. We pay like 500 peso each for the two of us (1000 PHP) to visit some places and take us to our next hotel destination after. But we convincely asked the driver to make a stop before going to Santiago. We had some beers on the place called Baywalk. A lot of locals, public market, foods and Karaoke. But it was fun 😀
And Santiago Bay 🌊
We visited Mangodlong Rock resort (Which is free entrance if you stayed in Santiago Bay resort coz the owner of the resort is also the owner of Santiago Bay resort) it was like heaven on earth resort . I will really recommend this place to everyone who would like to visit CAMOTES Island.
Then we went to Paraiso Cave. Its like an exclusive cave for a small length the size but worth it.
And for the third stop, its Lake Danao. Ans I will tell you if you tell them you checked in from Santiago Bay Resort . They will let you use the Pool coz its the same owner. 😂 But you have to pay for the kayak thingy and boat for the Lake tour of course. And their Food and stuff was amazingly super cool and friendly.
The fourth stop is Timubo cave. Its a long way cave but very beautiful, we’re not lucky coz when we were there . Its full of local and tourist. 😂 That’s not a good timing. But it was good.
Then fifth stop, Buho Rock. You jump on the cliff and enjoy the view or swim under the big Rocks as the Ocean wave swing you to the rhythm of the water.
And the last stop is Flying fish beach resort. So from San Francisco Island we travelled to another island called Puro. We stayed there over the night and luckily we are only the guest who checked in. Well, at least we have the whole resort for ourselves. The owner was very hands on and very friendly. We went down to meet some local kids and over the cliff on the resort you can Go snorkling. I spotted the owner feeding the fishes with bread. I saw those fishes competing each other trying to catch some and How amazingly swam like dolphins. Theyre huge, coloured and beautiful. They also have a small cave lagoon 5 minutes away from the resort.
And the Island is really awesome . Untouched and not really develop yet. Hopefully it will stay at it is. And less Tourist to preserve it. And the most rewarding moment after the two days trip was to eat this halo-halo.🐒
